Kinredgarten Saulės Gojus Educational support is an integral part of children’s comprehensive education. Saulės Gojus Kindergarten employs professional educational support specialists – a speech and language therapist and a social pedagogue – who help children overcome various educational, emotional and social challenges.
The speech and language therapist helps children with speech and language difficulties to develop their language skills and overcome communication difficulties. They assess children’s language development and organise individual or group sessions to help them improve their pronunciation, expand their vocabulary, form correct sentences and express their thoughts fluently. In collaboration with teachers and parents, the speech and language therapist promotes children’s smooth speech development and prevents possible future learning difficulties.
The social pedagogue takes care of the emotional well-being and the development of social skills of the children while contributing to the creation of a safe and inclusive educational environment in kindergarten. He/she helps children to resolve emotional, behavioural and communication difficulties and supports the child’s smooth adaptation in kindergarten. In collaboration with teachers and parents, the social pedagogue ensures that every child feels accepted, safe and able to grow and develop successfully.
