Admission to Saulės Gojus starts with an individual interview with the parents of the student, which is organised by the manager of the respective educational level. During the interview, the parents are informed about the school‘s educational model, philosophy, principles of cooperation, internal procedures, prices and other important aspects.
If the child is found to have special educational needs, the situation and the school‘s capacity to meet them are discussed. In some cases, the child is invited to the interview and, if deemed necessary, the parents are asked to allow the child to spend a few days in the classroom. Students are admitted to Saulės Gojus secondary school after a motivational interview and an assessment of its results.
If a child is applying for pre-primary class, it is important to make sure that he / she is ready for this level of schooling. Admission to pre-primary class may include a short one-to-one meeting with the teacher or an adaptation day in a group: this helps the teachers to get to know the child better and the child to get a feel for the environment. The pre-primary curriculum focuses on developing independence skills, therefore it is important that the child is ready for new challenges.
Once enrolment has been arranged, you are asked to complete the necessary forms, pay the enrolment fee, sign the education contract and submit the supporting documents – and your child‘s educational journey can begin!
